Wintergreen International Wine Festival - September 4, 2010
The Evans Center, Wintergreen, Virginia
Explore wines from around the world – over 50 wines from Australia, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, South Africa, California, and, of course, Virginia. Taste, compare, learn and enjoy. Admission is $20 per person. Admission includes 10 tastings. Additional tastings are 2 for $1. Food will be available.

Herdon Labor Day Wine & Jazz Festival - September 6, 2010

The Labor Day Jazz & Wine Festival features an outstanding lineup of well-known regional and national jazz performers. Wine tastings from up to a dozen Virignia wineries offer a tasteful complement to the music filled day. Fifteen fine artists present a variety of handmade items for sale, and refreshemnts are available. The festival is held on the Town Green in historic downtown Herndon.

Great Grapes Wine, Arts, and Food Festival - September 11-12, 2010

The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce Foundation is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Wine & Unwind Wine Festival in Salem, VA on October 23, 2010. The event will be held at Lewis Gale Field at Salem Memorial Ballpark showcasing the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains' fall colors. Come out and join local wineries and crafts vendors as they show off their latest creations. All proceeds from this event will support the Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce Foundation's scholarship fund and assist to retire the debt on the Carriage House in Longwood Park. This is a rain or shine event where no pets or anyone under 21 will be admitted. Chesapeake Wine Festival - October 30, 2010

Premier wines from the around the world will be available for tasting at the First Annual Chesapeake Virginia Wine Festival on Saturday October 30, 2010 from Noon – 6pm at the Chesapeake City Park on Greenbrier Parkway. This event, sponsored by Chesapeake Rotary, will benefit the Sidney M. Oman Cancer Center of Chesapeake Regional Hospital and the Community Charities of the Chesapeake Rotary Club.
Fabulous wines from around the world and produced by Virginia Wineries will be available for tasting as well as foods from the regions finest restaurants. Entertainment will be provided by Lewis McGehee and Charles Darden.
For those looking to educate themselves on how to identify the finer qualities of wines or to increase their breadth of knowledge of wines, several wine seminars will be offered during the festival.
