Wine Pairing: Rockbridge Vineyards 2005 De Chiel Reserve Cabernet Franc
Rockbridge Festival Flat Iron Steak
Ingredients:
1 Flat Iron steak for each 3-4 people
1 pouch bourbon based mesquite marinade or other commercially prepared marinade.
Directions:
1. Marinate steak for at least 30 minutes.
2. Grill over hot coals for 6 minutes on each side for medium rare, 7 minutes for medium, etc., basting often with remaining marinade.
3. Slice thinly and serve immediately with baked potatoes and a green salad.
